Reservation & Booking Policies

Our B&B is designed for relaxation and privacy.
We are an adults only premise, no children under the age of 15 permitted.
All room rates are based on double occupancy.
Except Kokopelli room. ~ Limit four adults with additional $25.00 per night per person.
All rates are quoted in US Dollars.
Three day minimum required for reservations.

All rates are subject to mandatory Mexican Tax 16% IVA not included in quoted price.

Reservation Deposits

A deposit equal to 50% of your total stay is required to confirm your reservation. No reservation will be confirmed until your deposit has been received. Payment with Visa or M/C

Outstanding balance is due upon arrival at El SOL LA VIDA. Forms of payment U.S. cash, Canadian cash or Mexican pesos (based on current exchange rate). Visa or M/C

A deposit of one nights fee will be required upon arrival, to secure tv remote, air condition controls, room keys and beach towels. Deposit will be returned at end of stay when all items are returned. The deposit can also be used if there are any damages or items missing from room. This deposit can be made with cash or credit card.

Cancellation Policy

At EL SOL LA VIDA we rent our rooms by advance reservations. When you reserve a room or rooms, we agree to turn away all other requests for the room(s) you reserved, guaranteeing to hold them for the dates you requested. We want our policy to be fair for our guests, yet prevent loss of income to our Hacienda by cancellations. We cannot be responsible for travel delays, health issues, inclement weather or early departures. Due to our limited number of rooms, cancellations affect us greatly, so when situations arise that necessitate a cancellation, we sympathize, however, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Trip insurance is strongly suggested, there are several to choose from on the Internet. Cancellations of 60 days + prior to arrival, your total deposit is refundable less a $50 processing fee. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 30 days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we are able to re- rent your room for the originally scheduled dates, your deposit will be returned, less a $50 processing fee. Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of actual arrival or departure date. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to arrival, you agree to pay for your entire stay regardless of late arrival, no-show or early departure

By making your deposit you signify that you have read, understand and agree to the Cancellation Policy above and you understand that there are no exceptions.

General Policies

Check In Time: Check in time is 3 p.m. Special arrangements can be made for late or early arrivals with consent.
Checkout Time: 12 p.m. We will gladly hold your luggage on your check out day while you tour or shop.


Breakfast is available from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. (We provide daily a hot breakfast, fresh coffee, tea, fruit juices, yogurt, granola, cereals, assortment of breads and fresh fruit. If you have any allergies please make it aware, as we will do our best to accommodate)


All rooms are smoke free. Smoking is permitted in all outdoor areaʼs only.


We love animals but we do not have the facilities to accept any pets.
